If you want to work at the forefront of business communications in a fast moving and supportive environment, then this could be the position for you. You will work within our Marketing Department reporting directly to the Marketing Manager for Spain, France and DACH. The position will also involve travelling to Nottingham and attending (national and international) events on the company’s behalf..

You will be contributing to every aspect of the marketing mix, from digital marketing to event management - and to make things even more interesting, you’ll be doing this across three distinct brands. The marketing team is highly energetic, dangerously creative and positively driven to become Europe's number one communication’s company.

Role and responsibilities

The job will be based in our brand new offices in the centre of Barcelona. If you want to work at the forefront of business communications in a fast moving and supportive environment, then this could be the position for you.

You will contribute to:

  • Management of the Spanish brands, websites and marketing activities
  • The success of our online pay-per-click (PPC) accounts
  • SEO/CRO, following the content marketing strategy
  • The production of monthly analytical reports, presenting results and suggesting changes
  • The production of compelling and professional copy for the different marketing mediums
  • The offline marketing strategy - e.g. managing events, creating sales collateral.
Experience

We are looking for an experienced online and offline marketer (3+ years) with knowledge of:

  • Google Suite - Adwords, Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, etc.
  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • Event management
  • Excellent copywriting skills (optimised content)
  • Website content management systems
  • CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Microsoft Excel
  • You will also have strong attention to detail, and confident verbal and written communication in English.

Main areas of focus

Spanish Brands Website: If you enjoy editing and optimising websites for natural and paid traffic, creating pages with thrilling and engaging content and have competent HTML skills you will fit perfectly. You need to be passionate about websites and online experience and drive the Spanish websites to excel in the online market.

Spanish Paid search: PPC has been a very successful tactic for our Spanish brands, and it’s important that you have a thorough understanding of Adwords so that you can help to support the existing team with this activity. Your attention to detail, structured and rational approach to tasks will allow you to maximise the potential in search to achieve the lowest possible cost per quality lead. With a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, you will be able to quickly draw conclusions and spot trends in Paid search so as to use them to our advantage.

Spanish Organic traffic optimiser: Your excellent copywriting skills in Spanish will ensure great content and traffic to the right pages for the right keywords and search results. Knowledge of linking structures and different SEO strategies to generate external and internal linking will ensure the best possible results, Google ranking and SEO quality conversions.

Assisting in insight and launch plans: Your attention to detail and structured approach will allow you to make great market and competitor analysis.

Reporting on the Spanish performance: You’ll make regular reports on all the different aspects of the Spanish performance. Your analytical skills will also invaluable to allow you to draw conclusions and actions from the results. .

Online Advertisement: Your knowledge of social media and online trends will allow you to launch online advertisement in different sectors, arranging ways to measure the success and relevance of different actions, as well as ROI for these initiatives. .

Offline Marketing Strategy: you will be responsible for delivering and agreeing the offline strategy for the Spanish market as well as analysing the results for these activities. Your attention to detail and organisation skills will allow you to generate successful trade events, workshops and conferences for the Spanish market.

Customer communications: you will be responsible for marketing communications sent to Spanish customers. For this you will show a clear understanding of the needs of the market and culture in Spain, and maintain the image of the company and brands. As well as customer surveys and insight for the Spanish markets.
