Role and responsibilities

You will be based in our Barcelona office and be responsible for leading the German Sales team to achieve revenue targets and promote the use of Esendex solutions in existing customers, new customers and new markets.

You will be responsible for:

  • Deliver revenue, margin, and EBITDA budget
  • Deliver new customers and active customers targets
  • Motivating, inspiring and managing the Sales team
  • Developing the current Inbound Sales strategy
  • Managing high profile B2B inbound leads trialling our services and online contact requests
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team on content, campaigns and events to support customer acquisition
  • Developing new sales channels such as Partners and Outbound activities
  • Monitoring performance versus main KPI
  • Ensuring excellent communication and follow up with our potential customer and existing customers
  • Identifying sales opportunity by analysing customer history, trends, and potential into the available data and reports
  • Selling all Esendex products (SMS, SMS survey, Mobile Journey)
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by working closely with Support, Marketing and Product Development
Skills and experience

You will be an exceptional candidate, with a proven track record in a similar role.

Essential:

  • High focus and understanding of Sales activities
  • Sales Team management experience
  • Technical understanding of online marketing and ecommerce in general Results driven
  • Experience in dealing with B2B customers
  • Strong communication/negotiation skills
  • Be of high aptitude and keen on detail
  • Ability to think like a customer and express this clearly
  • Ability to speak and write fluent German and English
    • Desirable:

    • Technical understanding of mobile technology
    • Sales experience of offering software solution/services (SAAS)
    • Experience in a telecoms business
    • Formal management training
