We are looking for an experienced account manager who'll welcome, train, and keep in contact with new and existing customers. The key focus is on sales conversion rate, revenue generation and retention.


Based in our Barcelona office, you will be an excellent account manager responsible for welcoming, training and keeping in contact with current Spanish customers as well as being the first point of contact for our new Spanish customers.

The role involves:

  • Manage B2B inbound leads trialling our services and online contact requests
  • Make first class presentations both via email or/and on the phone
  • Provide a consultancy-based service to assess customers' requirements and sell the right solution
  • Ensure the customer journey is as smooth as possible from trialling our services to buying them
  • Ensure excellent communication and follow up with our potential and existing customers
  • Manage an existing portfolio of customer and taking care of new ones
  • Identify high potential opportunities and manage with the sales team accordingly
  • Identify sales opportunities by analysing customer history and trends, using the available data and reports
  • Sell the complete Esendex product suite (currently SMS, SMS Surveys, Mobile Journeys)
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by working closely with Support, Marketing and Product Development

You will be an all-round exceptional candidate, with a proven track in a similar role. In particular, you are required to:

  • Be focused and have an understanding of Sales activities in general
  • Be results driven
  • Have experience in dealing with B2B customers
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Listen to others and accept input from team members
  • Proactively propose and implement improvements
  • Be detail orientated
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to think like a customer and express this clearly
  • Be able to speak and write fluent Spanish and English

Additionally, experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

  • Being able to speak another European language
  • Technical understanding of mobile technology
  • Technical understanding of online marketing and ecommerce in general
